If you look closely, you’ll notice the sense of upward movement in this Canadian art glass piece by EDAG Crystal out of Montreal Quebec.

The form opens like a flame or unfurling leaves, drawing the eye vertically. The glass shifts from a deep, darker amber deep within the base into vibrant green tones that glow intensely when lit with a UV light due to the usage of uranium, giving the piece a feeling of energy and lift. Light passes cleanly through the upper reaches, while the denser colour at the base anchors the form.

What makes this example especially compelling is its colourway. This combination is rarely seen and, as of 2026, is believed to be the only known example in this palette. It reflects Chalet’s willingness to experiment, capturing a moment where technical skill and bold colour choices came together successfully.

Take a moment to move around it. The piece changes as you do, and that interaction is very much part of its presence.
